HOW LONG DO THEY LAST?
-
This depends on many things. The biggest factors are how many natural lashes you have, how strong your natural lashes are, how full or natural of a look you ask for, and aftercare. You can expect your lashes to look "fresh" for usually a week, and by week two need a fill. This varies a LOT from person to person. It can take up to 2 or 3 fills to find out exactly how you like your lashes, and to learn how to take care of them. Eyelash extensions are a luxury service - we are always happy to talk about how to get them to last longer for you! For even more information on that, click here:

I WANT TO GET EXTENSIONS FOR A SPECIAL EVENT, WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY APPOINTMENT FOR?
-
If you are booking an appointment to get eyelash extensions done for a special occasion(and especially if it's your first time trying them out), we strongly recommend to book an appointment for a month before your event, and plan to book a fill within 1-3 days of your special event. This way we can make any changes and also have them fresh for your special day. Due to the many variables affecting retention please note that if you have an appointment more than 3 days before your event, they may not look "perfect" and we cannot guarantee availability to adjust them right before. If you are familiar with extensions and feel comfortable with explaining the look you'd like, you can book your full set right before your event. We just like to make sure we can meet your expectations, and that if you are new to extensions that you have realistic expectations.

ARE YOU ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS?

CAN I TALK DURING MY APPOINTMENT?
-
Although we love chatting with our lovely clients - the truth is that it can be distraction and take away from our concentration. Talking causes movement in the face and therefore your lashes - it is physically more difficult to attach the extensions to a moving target. To give you the best results we can we ask for limited conversation and to keep as still as possible during your service.

WHAT ARE EYELASH EXTENSIONS?
-
Semi- permanent eye lash extensions are synthetic mink lashes that are individually placed on every isolated natural lash by using specialized adhesive. Every look can be customized from natural to dramatic, to shape and lengths.
-

-
DO YOU USE REAL MINK HAIR FOR EYELASH EXTENSIONS?
-
No. Today the industry uses PBT fiber (a type of plastic) for eyelash extensions. Sometimes the word mink is used, which is to signify the finish of the lash (matte black), ratio of the taper from base to end of hair.

-
WHAT IS A LASH LIFT/PERM?
-
A lash lift uses chemicals to perm your lashes. They will look as if they’ve been curled with a curler 24/7 for 4-6 weeks. It won’t make the lashes look darker or thicker, but they will seem to appear “longer” because they’ll be curled upwards. It takes 45 minutes.
-

-
WILL THEY RUIN MY NATURAL LASH?
-
NO.. if following the correct after care. Lashes are placed on the natural lash 1mm from the base not touching the skin allowing the natural lash to grow and shed in its natural cycle.
-

-
CAN I GET THEM WET?
-
YES! Immediately after your appointment, lashes are safe to swim, shower, work out in etc. Please avoid saunas, bed tanning, or excessive heat for 24 hours after.
-

-
HOW FAR APART SHOULD I BOOK MY LASH FILLS?
-
If you are unsure of which fill you might need, your lash technician will be able to help you 100%. For existing clients, we are familiar with your lifestyles and average retention. Based off of information from you regarding things occurring in your life that will affect retention (vacations, stress, crying, swimming, sweating, etc) we will be able to recommend when you should book.
-

-
CAN I WEAR MASCARA?
-
We recommend NOT to wear mascara with extension do to keeping them clean and clumping your lashes. During lash fills, lashes must be completely clean to withhold adhesive at its best.
-

-
CAN I GET LASH EXTENSIONS REMOVED?
-
YES.. removal is a very easy quick process done by your lash tech. Do not pull, twist, or pick your lashes as it can damage the natural lash.

SPECIAL EVENTS
-
We recommend coming in 2-3 weeks before your special event - that way if there’s anything you would like changed about how your lashes look, there is plenty of time to modify

-
AM I ALLOWED TO BRING MY CHILDREN TO MY APPOINTMENT?
-
Please make childcare arrangements prior to your appointments. When having a service done, you will not be able to have your eyes open, and we cannot be held liable for any child’s supervision. Please leave them in proper care while we pamper you.
-

-
WHAT TO DO BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT?
-
Please arrive with clean lashes and no makeup on or around the eye area - If your lash technician needs to clean your lashes it will cut into your lashing time, and nobody wants that! Please avoid caffeine products or stimulants the day of your appointment - your eyes move involuntarily during your appointment (especially your first time). To do their best work, your lash tech needs a steady surface and a client who can remain as motionless as possible. Please avoid washing your hair/using conditioner on your hair at least 24 hours before your appointment.
-

-
HOW LONG WILL MY APPOINTMENT TAKE?
-
This depends on many factors - the style you choose, the density of your own lashes, the speed of your artist, and how full you are wanting your set to look. For full sets, please allow up to 2 hours for the check in, application, and check out process. For a more specific time frame, please ask your eyelash technician. Fill appointments typically take an hour but can range 30 minutes to an hour and 30 minutes.

ALLERGIC REACTIONS & EYELASH EXTENSIONS
-
This is rare, but possible. If you suspect you are experiencing an allergic reaction, contact us as soon as possible to let us know.. Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds on full sets or fills that result in an allergic reaction due to the time and product used. Although it happens rarely, when a client has a reaction it is out of our control. It is also unfortunate but worth noting that allergic reactions can arise without warning even after having your lashes done regularly for any amount of time. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include swollen, itchy eyes within the first 24 hours after the service. If you've had allergic reactions in the past and wish to try again, you can try to see your doctor and ask for dexamethasone steroid cream in order to treat your contact dermatitis.
